Alliant Technologies has extensive experience in controls and software solutions, specializing in Baggage Handling Systems (BHS). We are industry experts that have provided innovative control solutions for our clients.   We have have completed small system expansions to large new terminal projects. We have completed Transport Security Administration (TSA) funded terminal recapitalization and optimizations projects at airports across the country. 

 

Alliant Technologies offers solutions for multiple system and communication architectures as well as Maintenance Diagnostics, Supervisory Control Data Acquisition, and graphical system displays for easier, more comprehensive system monitoring. Our solutions also include upper level command, sort allocation, and database reporting.

 

Our BHS experience includes inline Explosive Detection System (EDS) screening, live system re-control, turnkey upper level control systems, and turnkey lower level control systems. All of our system designs are current to the TSA’s Planning Guidelines and Design Standards (PGDS) for Checked Baggage Inspection Systems (CBIS) . We also understand what is required to meet other stringent government requirements such as Battelle System Certification. Alliant Technologies was accredited for the first volume ISAT Battelle Certification at zero percent error rate.

 

Our projects include controls and software engineering for small airport BHS projects with just a few hundred drives to larger systems with 20+ EDS machines and 1800+ drives.
